How to manage your profile and password
Update your personal details, avatar, email address and password in Flinq.
Use your profile to manage the personal information associated with your Flinq account.
Update your profile
-
Open the user menu and select Profile.
-
Update your name, email address, language or avatar.
-
Save your changes.
If you change your email address, Flinq sends a verification link to the new address. Your sign-in email changes only after you follow that link. The previous address also receives a security notice and can block the pending change if it was not authorised.
Change your password
If your account has a Flinq password, use the password section on your profile. Enter your current password and choose a new password that:
-
has at least 10 characters;
-
contains uppercase and lowercase letters, a number and a symbol;
-
has not appeared in a known data breach; and
-
is not one of your last five passwords.
Forced password changes
When an administrator creates your account with a password or resets your password, Flinq may require you to change it before continuing. Complete the password-change page, then continue to two-factor setup if prompted.
SSO accounts
A user who signs in only through SAML SSO may not have a Flinq password section. Password policy and recovery are then managed by the identity provider. Contact an Organisation admin if you need recovery access.
