How to review a client portal Fixed Term Deposit request
Complete the internal placement details or reject a portal submission.
Review a portal-submitted deposit, complete the internal placement and funding details, then accept it into the FTD workflow or reject it with a reason.
Review and complete the request
Go to Fixed Term Deposits > FTDs and select Show Requiring Action, or filter by Portal Submitted.
Open the request and review the portal requester, client, amount, currency, term, dates, preferred bank, funding bank, account details, indicative rate and notes.
Select Complete Portal Request.
Complete the internal Bank & Currency, Details, Funding, Additional Info and Review steps. Complete any bank-specific compliance confirmations that Flinq shows. Confirm that the placement bank and portal-supplied funding route are workable.
Select Complete Portal Request.
A portal-submitted record is marked Action Required until an authorised internal reviewer completes or rejects it.
The completion flow begins by confirming the placement bank and currency.
Flinq records the reviewer and review time. If the office requires FTD approval, the status becomes Awaiting Approval. Otherwise, it becomes Requested and the requester is notified that the request is in progress.
Reject the portal request
Open the Portal Submitted request and select Reject Portal Request.
Enter a clear Reason for cancellation that the requester can understand.
Confirm the rejection.
The status becomes Cancelled internally. The portal requester is notified according to their preferences and sees the rejected outcome.
The request cannot be completed
If the funding bank differs from the placement bank, Flinq requires a workable route: direct client originating-account details or a configured corporate SSI for the placement bank and currency. Add the missing approved configuration or choose a different placement bank before completing the review.
