How to submit a Fixed Term Deposit request in the client portal
Send a structured deposit request to the internal treasury team for review.
Submit a Fixed Term Deposit request in the client portal so the internal treasury team can review the bank, funding route and placement details.
Before you start
Have the client name, currency, amount, term, value date, preferred bank, funding bank and funding account ready. If principal and interest use separate accounts, have both account numbers.
Submit the request
In the client portal, open FTD Requests and select New Request.
Under Deposit Details, enter the client name and choose the optional book, currency, amount, term, preferred bank and value date.
Review the calculated maturity date and, when available, the indicative rate and estimated interest.
Under Funding, choose the funding bank and enter the funding account. Enable Capital and Income Basis when interest must be paid to a separate income account, then enter both accounts.
Add any context the reviewer needs under Additional Notes.
Select Create.
Review the deposit details before you submit.
Flinq creates an FTD reference, changes the request to Submitted in the portal and returns you to the request list.
Track the request
Open FTD Requests to see your requests and their portal-facing statuses. Use Search to find a request, then open it to review its submitted and processed information.
The funding route is unavailable
If the selected funding bank cannot fund the preferred placement bank for the currency, Flinq shows that the funding route is unavailable. Choose a workable bank combination or contact the internal treasury team; do not enter a different account merely to pass the check.
